About Me
With nearly a decade of experience in marketing, I have built my career helping mission-driven organizations connect important work with the people who need to hear about it. My background spans nonprofit, advocacy, and start-up environments, from renewable energy policy and climate advocacy to girls' education initiatives, adoption, child welfare, and family support services. Most recently, I spent seven years with a nonprofit adoption agency, where I grew into the role of Marketing Director, leading a team, directing campaigns, guiding a full rebrand and website redesign, and shaping organization-wide communications.
I thrive at the intersection of strategy and creativity, translating complex ideas into compelling stories that inspire action. As a leader, I bring curiosity, collaboration, and a big-picture mindset, enjoying the challenge of building systems, solving problems, and creating marketing strategies that help organizations expand their impact.
Outside of Work
I was born and raised in the green landscapes of Virginia, where I developed an early appreciation for nature, creativity, and exploration. After college, I moved to New York City, where I spent two years immersed in the energy, culture, and constant inspiration of the city. I became a bit of a bagel and pizza enthusiast, one of the many New York souvenirs I carried with me when I moved to San Diego six years ago.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hiking a new trail, practicing yoga, exploring an art museum, traveling somewhere new, or spending time outdoors with my camera in hand. I’m constantly inspired by creativity in all its forms, whether it’s a gallery exhibition, a thoughtfully designed brand, a beautifully crafted object, or a breathtaking landscape.
